How 'bout we all start taking some responsibility for ourselves and our own misjudgments instead of willfully handing over our Liberty and Freedom to a Government that has clearly run-a-muck!
The banking industry knew what they were doing and took the risks on bad loans and such anyway, why should we the tax payers bailout incompetent fools! The auto industry has been watching there market share dwindle for decades and never changed course, why should the tax payer bail out these fools? With the mess our elected officials continue to contribute to, why do we let them pass themselves pay increases? We should be DEMANDING they take pay and benefit CUTS! How dare they vote themselves raises and raise our taxes when they are clearly incompetent to govern their own lives let alone a country in crisis and on the precipice of depression.
What happened to CHANGE? The ObaMessiah promised it and then turned around and put The Clinton team back in place. Tell me, someone please tell me, how that constitutes change!! The proposed stimulus package goes against every aspect of common sense. If your household is broke would you go out spend yourself and your grand kids into oblivion? HELL NO! You would tell your family you had to cut back and work harder. That's exactly what we need to do in this country, we all need to stop expecting Uncle Sam to provide for us what we should be providing ourselves. No one is entitled to anything in this world except opportunity, and with every piece of legislative BS coming out of Washington there is less and less opportunity. Yet like children, a large part of the American public continues to want more handouts, bailouts, and coddling, willfully giving up their God given Liberty and Freedom seemingly oblivious to the fact that there is no free lunch. Tax the rich more, then what? The problem is not that Uncle Sam doesn't have enough, the problem is one of mismanagement. Look at education, how can we possibly accept the education systems continued decline? If we want better education we had better get the Federal Government OUT of the education business. Free market competition will fix it in less than a generation. Banking? We need to abandon the fiat currency we now have and get ourselves and the world back on a tangible system backed by gold and silver and ABOLISH the FEDERAL RESERVE. Taxes should be levied at the cash register, then everyone will be paying their fair share including the drug dealers, whores, and others that dodge taxes. Marijuana should be legalized and taxed IMMEDIATELY and those in prison on pot charges released at the same time. The drug war is largely a war on pot that has clearly been a lost cause and waste of resources. This an education and health care issue not criminal, as are all drug related concerns.
Didn't we learn that from prohibition. Albert Einstein said continuing the same behavior and expecting a different result is insanity. So, have we as a nation gone insane?
